A doctor's house call in Mallorca with Doc-Mallorca costs €350 to €450 depending on time of day. On weekdays between 8 AM and 5 PM the standard rate is €350, an urgent request is €400, and evenings from 5 PM to 10 PM as well as weekends are €450. These are indicative fees for a private medical service — the final amount depends on complexity and time of day and is paid on site. The same rate applies across the whole service area between Calvià and Port d'Andratx, whether at your hotel, holiday rental, finca or aboard a yacht. You always receive a private invoice that you can submit to your travel health insurance.
Is there a German-speaking doctor in Mallorca who comes to my hotel?
Yes. Doc-Mallorca is a German- and English-speaking private medical house-call service in southwest Mallorca. The treating physician is Henrik Venus, a licensed physician (German medical licence, Bezirksregierung Arnsberg, 2021) and a member of the Balearic Medical Association COMIB (Número de Colegiado 070714182). From 2 August 2026 he comes directly to your hotel, holiday apartment or finca, daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, across the whole southwest between Calvià and Port d'Andratx. You speak with the doctor himself — there is no call-centre gatekeeper and no waiting room. For reimbursement you receive a private invoice; medical confidentiality applies as a matter of course.
Which areas does Doc-Mallorca cover?
Doc-Mallorca covers the entire southwest of Mallorca between Calvià and Port d'Andratx. The doctor's house call is available in eleven locations: Port d'Andratx (service base), Camp de Mar, Paguera, Costa de la Calma, Santa Ponsa, Calvià, Magaluf, Palmanova, Puerto Portals, Bendinat and Illetas. The same rate of €350 to €450 depending on time of day applies in all eleven locations, daily from 8 AM to 10 PM from 2 August 2026. House calls aboard a yacht in the marinas of Puerto Portals, Port d'Andratx, Marina Port Adriano/El Toro and Marina Santa Ponsa are possible too. Each location has its own detail page with travel times and local notes.
Does my travel health insurance cover the cost?
Reimbursement by your travel health insurance is possible but not guaranteed. You will receive a detailed private invoice — please check with your insurer before travelling.
Can the doctor come on board my yacht?
Yes. House calls on yachts in Puerto Portals, Port d'Andratx, Marina Port Adriano/El Toro and Marina Santa Ponsa are available at the same rate of €350 to €450 depending on time of day. Medical confidentiality applies as a matter of course.
How does a Doc-Mallorca house call work?
A Doc-Mallorca house call works in three steps: you enquire by WhatsApp, phone or email, the doctor calls you back personally to discuss your concern, and then comes directly to where you are staying in southwest Mallorca. Treatment takes place at your hotel, holiday apartment, finca or aboard your yacht — daily from 8 AM to 10 PM from 2 August 2026. On site, history-taking, examination and treatment are carried out by Henrik Venus, a licensed physician and member of COMIB (Número de Colegiado 070714182). You pay €350 to €450 depending on time of day directly on site and receive a private invoice for your travel health insurance.
