How much does a doctor's house call in Mallorca cost?
A doctor's house call in Mallorca with Doc-Mallorca costs €250 to €450 depending on time of day. On weekdays between 8 AM and 5 PM the standard rate is €250–350 (depending on distance), an urgent request is €400, and evenings from 5 PM to 10 PM as well as weekends are €450. These are indicative fees for a private medical service — the final amount depends on complexity and time of day and is paid on site. The same rate applies across the whole service area between Palma and Port d'Andratx, whether at your hotel, holiday rental, finca or aboard a yacht. You always receive a private invoice that you can submit to your travel health insurance.
Is there a German-speaking doctor in Mallorca who comes to my hotel?
Yes. Doc-Mallorca is a German- and English-speaking private medical house-call service in southwest Mallorca — and I am the doctor. My name is Henrik Venus; I am a licensed physician. I come directly to your hotel, holiday apartment or finca, daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, across the whole service area between Palma and Port d'Andratx. You speak with me personally — there is no call-centre gatekeeper and no waiting room. For reimbursement you receive a private invoice; medical confidentiality applies as a matter of course.
Which areas does Doc-Mallorca cover?
Doc-Mallorca covers the area between Palma and Port d'Andratx. The doctor's house call is available in twenty locations: Port d'Andratx (service base), Andratx, S'Arracó, Sant Elm, Camp de Mar, Paguera, Costa de la Calma, Santa Ponsa, Calvià, Es Capdellà, Magaluf, Palmanova, Portals Nous, Puerto Portals, Bendinat, Illetas, Cas Català, Cala Major, Son Vida and Palma. The same rate of €250 to €450 depending on time of day applies in all twenty locations, daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. House calls aboard a yacht in the marinas of Puerto Portals, Port d'Andratx, Marina Port Adriano/El Toro and Marina Santa Ponsa are possible too. Each location has its own detail page with travel times and local notes.
Does my travel health insurance cover the cost?
Reimbursement by your travel health insurance is possible but not guaranteed. You will receive a detailed private invoice — please check with your insurer before travelling.
Can the doctor come on board my yacht?
Yes. House calls on yachts in Puerto Portals, Port d'Andratx, Marina Port Adriano/El Toro and Marina Santa Ponsa are available at the same rate of €250 to €450 depending on time of day. Medical confidentiality applies as a matter of course.

A Doc-Mallorca house call works in three steps: you enquire by WhatsApp, phone or email, I call you back personally to discuss your concern, and then I come directly to where you are staying in southwest Mallorca. I treat you at your hotel, holiday apartment, finca or aboard your yacht — daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. On site I take the history, examine and treat you myself: my name is Henrik Venus, licensed physician. You pay €250 to €450 depending on time of day directly on site and receive a private invoice for your travel health insurance. Doc-Mallorca is a private medical service and does not replace emergency services — in life-threatening emergencies please call 112.
