Doctor house call in Andratx
Doc-Mallorca is a German- and English-speaking private house-call service in Andratx — I am Henrik Venus, a licensed physician, and I come directly to your accommodation or finca, with no trip to a surgery, daily from 8 AM to 10 PM.
Andratx is the main town of the municipality, about four kilometres inland from the harbour: a grown-up small town with a weekly market, stone houses and fincas on the surrounding slopes — not to be confused with Port d'Andratx down at the bay. I come to you, examine and treat you on the spot, and issue a private invoice you can submit to your insurer.
Travel & service hours: From Port d'Andratx up the MA-1103 — about 8 minutes, one of the shortest drives in the service area. Many fincas lie outside the town centre on narrow country lanes; please give the exact address or the finca name at first contact. Sharing your location by WhatsApp helps too. Service hours daily 8 AM–10 PM (Europe/Madrid).
All stated travel times are approximate driving times when available. A guaranteed arrival or response time is not possible — at the time of your request I may already be on another house call. In life-threatening emergencies always call 112.
I'm Henrik Venus, a German doctor, recognised and authorised to practise in Spain. I treat in German and English and call you back personally — no call centre, no waiting room.
Pricing: from €250 to €450. Not a substitute for the emergency physician (112) — in life-threatening emergencies always call 112.

Frequently asked questions
What you want to know first.
What is the difference between Andratx and Port d'Andratx?
Andratx is the main town of the municipality, about four kilometres inland; Port d'Andratx is the harbour village down at the bay and also my base. Both are part of the regular service area and the same flat indicative fee applies to both. For the town of Andratx I am with you in about 8 minutes, usually within 30–60 minutes of the phone call. Please say at first contact which of the two you mean — it saves us both a detour. In an acute life-threatening emergency, always call 112 first.
Do you also come to fincas outside the town centre?
Yes. Fincas and houses on the slopes around Andratx are part of the service area, and no travel surcharge applies. Please give the exact address, the finca name or share your location by WhatsApp at first contact — many access lanes are narrow and unsigned. The flat indicative fee is €250–350 on weekdays 8 AM–5 PM, €400 for an urgent request and €450 in the evening or at weekends. Service hours daily 8 AM–10 PM (Europe/Madrid).
How long does it take you to reach Andratx?
About 8 minutes is the pure driving time once an appointment is agreed — from your first enquiry to treatment, expect 30–60 minutes. As a single doctor I cannot promise a guaranteed response time; I will always tell you honestly on the phone when I can be there.
Is there a 24-hour doctor in Andratx?
For medical emergencies, the European emergency number 112 is available around the clock — free of charge, with English- and German-speaking support. For everything that isn't an emergency, you can request a visit online anytime; the German-speaking house call in Andratx takes place daily between 8 am and 10 pm — directly at your hotel, finca or accommodation, with no waiting room.
How much does a house call in Andratx cost?
Indicative: from €250 to €450. Private medical service in Spain — the final amount depends on time and complexity of the visit.
When does the service launch?
The house-call service is live. Appointments can be booked now — daily 8 AM–10 PM.
Will my travel health insurance cover the cost?
Travel health insurers often reimburse private medical house calls abroad — reimbursement is possible but not guaranteed. The exact amount depends on your policy; please check with your insurer before traveling.
Can patients with German statutory health insurance book too?
Yes. Doc-Mallorca is a private medical house-call service and I invoice privately — you receive a private invoice regardless of your insurance. Patients with German statutory health insurance can apply for reimbursement under § 13 (4) SGB V (possible, not guaranteed).
