Doctor house call in Paguera

Doc-Mallorca is an English- and German-speaking private medical house-call practice in Paguera (07160, municipality of Calvià), focused on acute holiday complaints among the many German regulars around the Bulevar de Peguera and coming straight to the hotel or holiday apartment.

Paguera — Peguera in Catalan — is a coastal resort in the west of the municipality of Calvià and has for generations been one of the first choices for German Mallorca holidaymakers. The town sits on three bays with the beaches Platja Palmira, Tora and La Romana. Its central pedestrian zone, the Bulevar de Peguera, links hotels, apartments and restaurants along the coast. Many guests return to the same accommodation year after year.

Travel & service hours: Paguera is especially close to my base in Port d'Andratx via the MA-1 motorway — I can be on site in about 10 minutes. That applies to the hotels on Platja Palmira just as much as to the apartments around the Bulevar de Peguera and the quieter spots towards Cala Fornells. Service hours: daily 8 AM–10 PM (Europe/Madrid). For night-time emergencies always call 112.

All stated travel times are approximate driving times when available. A guaranteed arrival or response time is not possible — at the time of your request I may already be on another house call. In life-threatening emergencies always call 112.

I'm Henrik Venus, a German doctor, recognised and authorised to practise in Spain. I treat in German and English and call you back personally — no call centre, no waiting room.

Pricing: from €250 to €450. Not a substitute for the emergency physician (112) — in life-threatening emergencies always call 112.

Frequently asked questions

What you want to know first.

Is Paguera closer to your base than the other resorts?

Yes. Paguera (07160 Calvià) neighbours my base in Port d'Andratx and is reachable via the MA-1 in around 10 minutes — one of the shortest drives in the Calvià service area. That applies to the hotels on Platja Palmira just as much as to the apartments around the Bulevar de Peguera. There is still no travel surcharge: the standard flat rate applies — from €250 weekdays 8–17:00, €400 for urgent requests and €450 evenings and weekends, travel included. I, Henrik Venus, am a licensed physician. Service hours: daily 8 AM–10 PM (Europe/Madrid). In an acute life-threatening emergency always call 112; this is no substitute for the emergency services.

Do you also treat in the quieter spots like Cala Fornells?

Yes. Cala Fornells and the hillside areas above Paguera are part of the regular service area in the 07160 Calvià postcode — with no surcharge, the same flat rate applies as centrally on the Bulevar de Peguera (from €250 weekdays 8–17:00, €400 urgent, €450 evenings and weekends, travel included). From my base in Port d'Andratx I also reach the quieter bays towards Cala Fornells and the beaches Platja Tora and Platja Palmira in around 10 minutes via the MA-1. Please give me the exact address or hotel name at first contact so I can find the access roads, some of which are narrow. Henrik Venus, licensed physician, comes straight to your accommodation — daily 8 AM–10 PM.

Is there any extra charge for a house call in Paguera compared to other resorts?

No, there is no extra charge — a house call in Paguera (07160 Calvià) costs the standard flat rate: from €250 weekdays 8–17:00, from €400 for urgent requests and up to €450 evenings and weekends, travel included in each case. With around 10 minutes' drive via the MA-1, Paguera is one of the closest resorts in the Calvià service area. The final amount depends on time and complexity of the visit; it is an indicative flat fee. I, Henrik Venus, am a licensed physician and comes directly to your hotel on the Bulevar de Peguera, at Platja Palmira or your holiday complex. Service hours: daily 8 AM–10 PM (Europe/Madrid). In an acute life-threatening emergency always call 112 — no substitute for the emergency services.

How long does it take you to reach Paguera?

About 10 minutes is the pure driving time once an appointment is agreed — from your first enquiry to treatment, expect 30–60 minutes. As a single doctor I cannot promise a guaranteed response time; I will always tell you honestly on the phone when I can be there.

Is there a 24-hour doctor in Paguera?

For medical emergencies, the European emergency number 112 is available around the clock — free of charge, with English- and German-speaking support. For everything that isn't an emergency, you can request a visit online anytime; the German-speaking house call in Paguera takes place daily between 8 am and 10 pm — directly at your hotel, finca or accommodation, with no waiting room.

How much does a house call in Paguera cost?

Indicative: from €250 to €450. Private medical service in Spain — the final amount depends on time and complexity of the visit.

When does the service launch?

The house-call service is live. Appointments can be booked now — daily 8 AM–10 PM.

Will my travel health insurance cover the cost?

Travel health insurers often reimburse private medical house calls abroad — reimbursement is possible but not guaranteed; the exact amount depends on your policy — please check with your insurer before traveling.

Can patients with German statutory health insurance book too?

Yes. Doc-Mallorca is a private medical house-call service and I invoice privately — you receive a private invoice regardless of your insurance. Patients with German statutory health insurance can apply for reimbursement under § 13 (4) SGB V (possible, not guaranteed).
