Who can book
Any patient — privately or statutorily insured. Doc-Mallorca is a private medical house-call service. You receive a private invoice regardless of your health insurance.
How billing works
Digital private invoice after the house call. Payment on site by card or cash. There are no hidden costs — the fixed fee covers history, examination, treatment and written report.
Travel health insurance
Travel health insurers often reimburse private medical house calls abroad — reimbursement is possible but not guaranteed; please check your policy in advance. Submit the private invoice to your insurer after returning home.
German statutory health insurance
Patients with German statutory insurance can also book. Reimbursement under § 13 (4) SGB V (cost reimbursement within the EU) is possible but not guaranteed — please clarify with your insurer in advance.

Which complaints does Doc-Mallorca treat during a house call?
Acute holiday complaints: infections (colds, fever, flu), gastrointestinal problems, sunstroke and heat exhaustion, dehydration, insect bites, back pain, minor injuries and wound care. Not treated: acute life-threatening emergencies (call 112), chronic long-term care, emergency surgery.
What diagnostics are available on site during the house call?
History and physical examination, vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, SpO₂), 12-lead ECG (mobile), temperature, blood-glucose rapid test, otoscopy and auscultation. Laboratory diagnostics and imaging (X-ray, ultrasound) are not possible during a house call — referral to a clinic if needed.
Are medications and prescriptions issued on site?
Emergency medications (e.g. painkillers, antiemetics, antihistamines) can be administered on site where justified. For follow-up medication you receive a private prescription that can be filled at any Spanish farmacia.
Does the doctor also provide IV infusion therapy as a house call?
Yes, intravenous infusion therapy is available on medical indication — for example for dehydration after heat or volume depletion following a gastrointestinal episode, after history and examination. Details at /en/infusion-therapy/.
What does a house call cost and who reimburses it?
Flat rates from €350 (weekdays 8 AM–5 PM), €400 (urgent) to €450 (evening/weekend), including history, examination, treatment and written report. Travel health insurers often reimburse private house calls abroad — reimbursement is possible but not guaranteed; please check your policy in advance. You receive a detailed digital private invoice.
