What is Doc-Mallorca?

Doc-Mallorca is a private house call service in southwest Mallorca. I deliver first-class medical care directly to German-speaking holidaymakers and residents – at their hotel, finca or apartment. From August 2026 I am looking for qualified partner physicians to work with me and grow together.

You receive a structured case briefing with address, symptoms and relevant prior information. You confirm acceptance.

House call & treatment
You go directly to the patient and carry out treatment according to Doc-Mallorca standards – professional, discreet, in German.

Documentation & billing
Brief digital documentation of the case. Billing is carried out weekly on a transparent fee basis.

Medical competence
  • Broad general medical spectrum – Confident handling of internal, traumatological and paediatric emergency situations.
  • Independent diagnosis & therapy decisions – No consultations needed for routine cases. The physician decides autonomously on-site.
  • Acute care without hospital affiliation – Ability to provide stable initial care, including assessment of when hospital referral is needed.
  • Carried equipment & medication – Standardised medical bag set. List provided by Doc-Mallorca.
  • Continuing education – Minimum 10 CME credits annually, verifiable.
Doc-Mallorca is not an emergency service. In life-threatening situations the Spanish emergency number 112 is called immediately.
Communication & patient interaction
  • German as primary treatment language – Native or C2-level German is mandatory.
  • Treating patients as equals – No condescending manner. Patients are guests who need help in an exceptional situation.
  • Availability & response time – Response within 10 minutes during agreed availability windows.
  • Discreet treatment – Complete confidentiality. No sharing of patient data.
Professionalism & conduct
  • Professional appearance – Clean, neutral clothing or professional attire.
  • Punctuality – Announced arrival time ±10 minutes, proactive notification if delayed.
  • Full fitness for duty – A call-out may only be accepted when the physician is physically and mentally fit.
Documentation & compliance
  • Brief medical report after each visit – Diagnosis (ICD-10), measures, medication. Submission within 2 hours.
  • GDPR-compliant data handling – Exclusively via channels provided by Doc-Mallorca.
  • Professional indemnity insurance – Minimum cover €3 million, valid for Spain.
  • Valid medical licence & registration – EU medical licence sufficient, NIE/TIE (Spanish foreigner identification number) required.
Doc-Mallorca provides a simple digital documentation system. Time per visit: approx. 5–10 minutes.

What you need to bring

Medical licenceIssued in Germany or the EU, recognised in Spain (automatic for EU physicians).
At least 3 years experienceGeneral medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine or comparable speciality.
German C2 / native speakerFluent treatment in German is the core promise of Doc-Mallorca.
Own vehicle in MallorcaFor independent travel to patients in the southwest of the island.
NIE / TIE (Spain)Spanish foreigner identification number for fee billing in Spain.
Professional indemnity insuranceValid insurance with minimum cover of €3 million, valid for Spain.
Spanish skills (an advantage)Not strictly required, but helpful for pharmacies, authorities and emergency departments.
Seasonal or year-round presenceSeasonal partners (May–October) are also welcome if reliability is assured.
