Doctor house call in Port d'Andratx
Doc-Mallorca is an English- and German-speaking mobile doctor for Port d'Andratx (also Puerto de Andratx / Port Andratx, 07157, municipality of Andratx) — a private house-call service that delivers acute holiday care directly at your hotel, villa or aboard a yacht at its berth in the harbour, without you having to visit a clinic. I am Henrik Venus, a licensed physician (Germany 2021, recognised in Spain, member of the Balearic medical council COMIB Nº 070714182); I call you back personally and treat in your language. The service launches on 2 August 2026; the indicative fee ranges from €350 to €450. Unlike a fixed surgery, I come to you — from my base in the town with the shortest drive in the entire service area, which covers Port d'Andratx, the main town of Andratx, S'Arracó and Sant Elm.
A house call in Port d'Andratx reaches you with the shortest drive in the entire service area — Port d'Andratx is my service base, from which I typically reach the harbour, promenade and the residential areas around the bay in 5–10 minutes after an appointment is arranged. The town, a former fishing village at the foot of Cap de sa Mola, is today one of the most upscale yacht harbours in southwest Mallorca and has long been a hub of the island's German-speaking community. This is exactly where a doctor who comes to you matters: instead of searching for an unfamiliar surgery on holiday, dealing with a language barrier and waiting in a waiting room, I examine and treat you where you are. Accommodation ranges from apartments and smaller hotels along the harbour promenade, to the villas and fincas on the slopes of La Mola, Montport and Sa Coma, to the coves of Cala Llamp and Cala Moragues — all within the 07157 postal area and part of the service area with no travel surcharge. You can read more about me on my “About me” page and find the exact process under “How it works”.
In Port d'Andratx in particular, a house call in your own language is often more practical than driving to the nearest public emergency department: the nearest hospital is in Palma, around 30 kilometres away, and the larger health post in Andratx is not continuously staffed for private care. If you are dealing with fever, a gastrointestinal infection, sunstroke after a day at Cala Llamp or an injury on board, you don't need hours of waiting but an examination in your own accommodation. Typical reasons I am called include feverish infections, travellers' diarrhoea, heat exhaustion, wound care after falls on the steep harbour paths, and acute complaints among crew and guests on yachts in the harbour. For care on board there is a dedicated yacht service; for dehydration or after a gastrointestinal episode I also offer IV therapy as a house call. See the full scope under Services and the indicative fees under Pricing. For life-threatening emergencies the rule is always: call 112 first — Doc-Mallorca does not replace the emergency services.
Travel & service hours: Port d'Andratx is my base, so I typically reach the harbour, promenade and the hillside areas of La Mola, Montport and Sa Coma as well as the coves Cala Llamp and Cala Moragues in 5–10 minutes after an appointment is arranged. The neighbouring villages of S'Arracó and Sant Elm are about 10 minutes away, the main town of Andratx about 8 minutes — all with no travel surcharge. Planned service hours: daily 8 AM–10 PM (Europe/Madrid). These are travel-time guides when I am free, not guaranteed arrival times — another house call may already be under way when you contact me. For acute, life-threatening emergencies always call 112 — Doc-Mallorca does not replace the emergency services.
All stated travel times are approximate driving times when available. A guaranteed arrival or response time is not possible — at the time of your request I may already be on another house call. In life-threatening emergencies always call 112.
