A house call on board is not an extended hotel visit — it is its own situation. Different spatial conditions, different marina access, different privacy requirements. You are treated in a quiet space on board (cabin, saloon, ship's hospital if available), with medical confidentiality as the self-evident foundation.
Treatment content is not shared with the captain, crew, charter agency, or owner representative. You receive the digital private invoice directly — on request to a different billing address.

History, physical examination, treatment in the quiet area of the yacht. Written medical report by email. Payment immediately after the visit by credit card or debit card (mobile card terminal on board).

How do you ensure privacy on board?
Medical confidentiality applies to all consultations as a matter of course. Treatment details are not disclosed to the captain, crew, charter agency, or owner representation. The digital private invoice is sent directly to the patient, not to the yacht management.
Can the captain or crew be present during the visit?
That is the patient's decision. The standard is a one-to-one consultation in a quiet space on board. A companion may be present on request — useful in case of impaired consciousness or language needs with the crew.
Can the invoice be issued under a pseudonym?
A valid private invoice in Spain must name the patient (legal invoicing requirement). On request the billing address can differ from the yacht (e.g. home residence, personal legal representative). Treatment content is only shared with the patient.
Which southwest Mallorca marinas are covered?
Puerto Portals (Calvià), Port d'Andratx, Marina Port Adriano/El Toro and Marina Santa Ponsa — all within the 25 km radius of Port d'Andratx at no surcharge. Real Club Náutico de Palma lies outside this core radius (approx. 35 min) and is available on request only, with an individual travel surcharge. Please provide the marina and berth at first contact so access via marina security can be arranged.
What happens in case of an acute emergency on board?
In an acute life-threatening situation always call 112 (European emergency number) — the Spanish emergency service (SUMMA 061) is the right address for medical emergencies. Doc-Mallorca does not replace emergency services. For non-acute complaints during port stay a house call can usually be arranged within a short time.
Is the on-board house call more expensive than at a hotel?
No. Same flat rate as for hotel or villa visits: from €350 to €450. No yacht surcharge within the regular service area.
