Medical qualification recognised in Spain.
I have been recognised in Spain to practise medicine since 11 May 2026. The recognition was granted by the Spanish Ministry of Health (Ministerio de Sanidad, Directorate-General for Professional Regulation) under EU Directive 2005/36/EC and Royal Decree 581/2017.

COMIB status

Recognition of the qualification by the Ministerio de Sanidad is the legal basis for practising in Spain. Actual practice itself additionally requires registration with the relevant medical council (Art. 4 Ley 2/1974, Art. 38 LOPS 44/2003) — this colegiación has been completed since 9 June 2026 (Número de Colegiado 070714182).

Recognition and colegiación are complete. Doc-Mallorca's regular service launch is 2 August 2026; until then no binding bookings are accepted.

Original Resolución
The original Resolución by the Ministerio de Sanidad is on file and can be provided on legitimate request (e.g. by hotel partners, insurers, or authorities).
For data protection reasons, the Resolución is not publicly linked: the original document contains the personal NIE (national identifier under LOPDGDD Art. 9), which must not be published. A redacted version is available on request.
